Star Plus' Shriman Vs Shrimati ends in a tie

The makers of Nach Baliye 5, Frames, got back with <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/rahul-mahajan-defends-his-captaincy-stint-shriman-vs-shrimati>Shriman Vs Shrimati</a> soon after Nach went off-air to entertain their audiences on Star Plus. Here, unlike <em>Nach Baliye</em>, where the dancing was more of a competition, Shriman had this interesting concept of real life jodis shaking a led against each other. It was more of a “battle of the sexes” kind of theme.

Sphere Origins’ <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/zee-tvs-phir-subah-hogi-end-22-march-2013>Phir Subah Hogi</a> started on a very promising note on Zee TV, with a story of a girl who is born in a tribe where women are meant to be taking to prostitution as their profession. But she decides on living her life in a different way. However, after the initial few episodes, the story took a different turn and the TRPs began to dip. Hence, the channel decided to axe the show.

Afsar Bitiya ends on a happy note

Village Boy Productions’ Afsar Bitiya, on Zee TV, aired its last episode on 28 December (2012). A new show Housewife will take its place from 31 December. Afsar Bitiya, however ended on a happy note. To get the feel, we spoke to the producer and actors. Said Producer Raakesh Paswan, “We are very happy with the way the show turned up. I got several positive feedbacks from viewers and fans. At the end our TRP ended at 1.9. Had the TRPs come in early, the show would have sustained. I am happy that the show could connect well with the audiences.”

It’s premature end for Ajeeb

The current crisis facing the TV industry has resulted in an untimely end for 9X’s weekend show <em> Ajeeb </em>. This Bonnie Jain production, which was to run for 24 episodes, couldn’t complete it’s tenure as the shoot was halted due to the strike, first called by FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) and then by the Producer’s Guild.
