Gangs Of Wasseypur
Nawazuddin Siddiqui who is currently one of the most sought-after star-actors of the country is facing the problem that all successful actors have to: his old forgotten unreleased films are being excavated for exhibition by opportunistic producers.
But the case of <em>Gangs Of Gardulley</em> whose makers have accused Nawaz of ignoring them and their plea to complete their film, is a unique.
Nawaz says he had shot for a short-film which without his knowledge or consent the makers have turned into a full-length feature film.

Saqib Saleem’s confident performance as Ram Kapoor’s bullied but unvanquished rogue of a son in Mere Dad Ki Maruti has multiplied his popularity since last year’s Mujhse Fraaadnship Karoge where Saqib seemed a natural-born scene-stealer.

After his highly-acclaimed acting debut in Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs Of Wasseypur, filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia, currently swamped in two back-to-back directorial undertakings, has been persuaded to face the camera again.
This time it’s for Ketan Mehta’s <em>Mountain Man</em>, the bio-pic on the unsung Bihari hero Dashrath Manjhi who dug a road through a mountain from his remote village to the nearest city.

Remember Nagma Khatoon of Gangs of Wasseypur that was effortlessly played by Richa Chadda?
Well, the actress is likely to feature in a stellar role in Vishal Bharadwaj's <em>Dedh Ishqiya</em> along with veterans Naseeruddin Shah and Madhuri Dixit Nene.
Confirming the same Richa told us, "I have indeed been approached for a role in <em>Dedh Ishqiya</em>. But, they have not got back to me yet. I think other actresses have been approached too,"

What a year it has been for the super-talented actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui! Three of his performances in <em>Kahaani, Gangs Of Wasseypur</em> and <em>Talaash</em> were applauded unanimously.
And now at year-end Nawaz has bagged a prestigious film with Dibakar Bannerjee which the <em>Shanghai</em> director has decided to make prior to his Kolkata-based murder mystery that he planned to make next.
