Rajat was previously observed to be emotionally damaged upon learning that Sai is not his biological daughter. He is unable to accept this fact, and it has turned his entire world upside down.

Savi tells Rajat about Saisha's suffering and tells him he should be punished for what he did with her. Rajat tells her not to lecture him and to find out whether Saisha really is his daughter. He wants no more drama in his life.

Savi defends herself when Shantanu tells her that Rajat is her husband and that she should support him in the face of everyone rather than punish him. When Bhagyashree comes and realizes it was Isha who sent him the Tiffin, she lashes out at her.

Savi tells Rajat that he hurt Saisha and made her feel self-conscious, but he feels no regret at all. However, Savi tells him that he is eating instead of accepting the punishment. She strikes out at him because of his treatment of Saisha.

It has been seen recently that Bhagyashree becomes enraged when she arrives at the office and discovers that Rajat has already received his freshly cooked meal.

It has been seen recently that when Savi notices that Rajat is heading to the office, he tosses mud at him in an attempt to teach him a lesson, which makes him angry.

Rajat is living in doubt as Arsh said that Sai is his daughter. Although Rajat loves Sai, this realization has destroyed him. He is going to be seen taking Sai's nail to a pathologist and asking to have it matched to his DNA.

A crucial incident occurs in the next episode of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin when Rajat chooses to have Sai's nails examined for DNA. Savi gets Sai ready for school, including giving her a bath, at the start of the episode.

Previously, Arsh manipulated Aashka against Savi and Rajat. Arsh wants to take revenge from Rajat and thus lies to him that Sai is his and Aashka’s daughter which leaves Rajat fuming in rage.

Sai will ask Savi a question that will completely surprise her. Sai has seen that her dad isn't treating her well. In an attempt to lift her spirits, Savi leads her into the kitchen and makes a commitment to make her favorite cake.
