News has just come in that Zee TV’s show based on remarriage, <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/yash-don-look-bhishm-pitamah-punar-vivah>Punar Vivah</a> (Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd), is all set to bid adieu to its fans in the month of June, 2013. Reason?

SAB TV seems to be up for some programming change. Golmaal Hai Bhai Sab Golmaal Hai has already been pulled off-air and common man comedy <em>R K Laxman</em> has been shifted to the 7.30 pm slot. And now we have learnt that Garima Productions’ <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/wedding-masala-sab-tvs-lapataganj>Lapataganj</a></em> is all set to wrap by January next year (2013). “They have already started cost cutting in terms of having episodes with less actors. The plug will be pulled in January,” said a credible source.

Star Plus early evening show <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/cops-arrest-indu-selling-porn-dvds-ruk-jaana-nahin>Ruk Jaana Nahin</a> will be ending its journey on 24 November (2012). This news was confirmed by producer Hemal Thakkar (Playtime Creations). “We had a good run. It was pleasure working with such talented people (actors and creatives). The story was good and it was well appreciated.” Ask him if felt that the show could have extended…he replied? “I don’t think like that. I go with what I have. No sense in speculating right.”
