Well…here’s some not so great news for the fans of Channel V’s youth fiction drama <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/sheena-bajaj-enter-humse-hai-liife>Humse Hai Liife</a> produced by 4 Lions Films. The show which captures the journey of Sia Dillon portrayed by beautiful and bubblicious Abigail Jain is all set to bid adieu to its fans.

Contiloe’s legendary historical saga <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/adilshah-and-sambhaji-die-veer-shivaji>Veer Shivaji</a> on Colors recently saw a big fat leap wherein renowned actors like <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/amol-kolhe-aka-veer-shivaji-working-out-get-skin-character>Dr Amol Kolhe</a>, Amit Behl, Nawab Shah, Raza Murad, Chetan Hansraj were brought in to play important roles. Though a high-profile show, of late, it never managed to gain the desired numbers, and the latest info that we have received is that the channel has decided to pull it off-air.

Yes, we are talking about UTV Productions’ recently launched show <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/more-drama-unfold-shubh-vivah>Shubh Vivah</a></em> on Sony Entertainment Television.

Here’s news on another show all set to bite the dust. Times have really changed in the world of Indian television and earlier when shows entertained masses for years together, now a soap is taken off air – on not bagging the numbers – within months of its launch. One such show to meet the “axe” fate – yeh, we are trying to be a bit cheeky – is Optimystix’s <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/zindagi-kahe-smile-please-not-going-air>Zindagi Kahe... Smile Please</a></em> on Life OK. It is all set to draw curtains by end of March or the first week of April (2012).

Creative Eye’s <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/newly-married-devan-sonali-leave-home-neem-neem>Neem Neem Shahad Shahad</a> which is based on the importance of a joint family in the Indian society has been grappling to climb up on the TRP chart for quite some time now. If sources are to be believed, after analyzing the progress of the show and coming to a conclusion that things are not going to change for good, the channel (Sahara One) has taken a call and has decided to pull the show off air sometime next month (February 2012).

Remember <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/did-you-know/did-you-know-ekta-holds-diploma-electronics>Ekta Tiwari</a>? Yes, she is the talented actress, who hit the headlines for filing a molestation complaint against her driver in July, 2011. Well, we are not investigating on the issue and this story is not about her harrowing experience. This is about Ekta getting nostalgic as her show <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/yash-pandit-replaces-saurabh-tere-mere-sapne>Tere Mere Sapne</a></em> on Star Plus is all set to draw curtains on 16 December 2011.

Star One’s vampire saga <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/pyaar-kii-ye-ek-kahaani-take-three-month-leap>Pyaar Ki Ye Ek Kahaani</a> has successfully completed almost 14 months and will soon bring its curtains down. The show is to go off-air on 16 December, 2011 in a true Bollywood style with a two hour grand finale episode. Actors like Gurmeet Choudhary-Drashti Dhami, Nishant Malkani- Sanaya Irani and Karan Tacker have been roped into perform in the finale episode.

News of UTV’s show <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/avani-rescue-bhaskar-dor>Maykee Se Bandhi Dor</a> on Star Plus going off air has been doing the rounds for quite sometime now. However, the latest buzz is that the show will bid adieu on October 2 with a <em>maha</em> episode. The show will make way for Cinevistaas’ <em>Ek Hazaron Main Meri Behna Hai</em>.

Star Plus' beauty and the geek tale <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/amol-get-engaged-pyaar-mein-twist>Pyaar Mein Twist</a> is tipped to go off-air sometime in mid June.

It is buzzed that <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/rudranis-truth-be-revealed-shorr>Shorr</a> on Sahara One is now under the scanner by the channel and may soon go off air if it does not up its rating. A source says, “The show has not been doing well for quite sometime now. The TRPs have been falling steadily and hence the channel is looking at pulling it off-air. In all probability this may happen post IPL which is sometime in June.”
