Actor-casting director Abhishek Banerjee, who received a lot of positive response for his role of Hathoda Tyagi in the hit streaming series 'Paatal Lok', has shared that his mother didnt like him in the role and he considers it as an appreciation for playing the role convincingly.

He never expected that the role of 'Hathoda Tyagi' in the 'Paatal Lok' web series to be such a landmark hit considering the character did not speak much and the short screen time it got. However, he clearly remembers "some magic" being created while shooting, not just owing to the controlled rage he managed to convey but also the way the series was shot.

Anushka Sharma spoke about the constant parallels being drawn between Paatal Lok and Sacred Games. The actor-producer shared her thoughts about it.
