Honey Singh to sing for Bruce Willis' Diehard 5

If notoriety is a stepping-stone to stardom then the recent controversies surrounding some of his songs have taken rapper Honey Singh to another level of popularity. After the controversies that erupted around Honey’s songs allegedly based on sexal themes, the singer is inundated with renewed offers to sing for Hindi films. Honey sang hit songs last year in the films <em>Cocktail</em> and <em>Khiladi 786</em>. He is now in the process of cracking deals for at least seven new Bollywood projects for topnotch filmmakers including Sajid Nadiadwala and Anurag Kashyap.

“That isn’t me!” protests Honey Singh, currently under siege for his allegedly misogynist. Honey is amused to see fake Twitter accounts in his name doling out rubbish on his behalf. One of these selfappointed Honey-hued Twitter imposters has even apologized for the rapper’s “past mistakes”.

Bhangra-pop singer-rapper Honey Singh claims he is a victim of a vicious smear campaign launched by his rivals to finish off his rising career as India’s foremost live entertainer. Shaken and nonplussed, Honey didn’t know what hit him when, on Monday hours before the new year was ushered in with telling somberness, he was targeted viciously for his allegedly anti-woman misogynist songs, specially a number offensively titled Main Hoon Ek Balaatkari.
