Janleva 555

After a hiatus of two decades, Anant Nag is back on the silver screen playing a major role in Janleva 555 that hits the screens on 19 October (2012). Says Sandeep who was the associate director of the Anant-starrer Kannada film <em>Manasella Neene</em>, “It’s an honour to have him in my debut Hindi directorial venture. When I narrated the subject to him, he immediately agreed upon it. Actually it’s very difficult to convince an actor of his caliber because he doesn’t accept anything. Fortunately, he loved the concept and immediately gave his nod,”

Set to make a record of sorts, yesteryear actress Vyjayantimala is set to return to the big screen after 42 years. She has been signed by director Sandeep Malani for an issue-based film titled <em>Janleva 555</em> to be produced by Kalpna Pandit. The producer, who has earlier worked in a few films and done some raunchy numbers describes <em>Jaanleva 555</em> as her dream project. It’s a musical thriller with 15 songs. According to her, the film would be a perfect blend of music and horror.
