The beautiful and talented Shabana Azmi who is married to renowned lyricist Javed Akhtar earlier had a long relationship with filmmaker Shekhar Kapur.

The two met and fell in love and it was quite a serious affair but things didn’t work out and they broke up. Also interestingly the two worked on the acclaimed movie Masoom post their split. Shekhar was the director and Shabana played the lead heroine.
