Kabhi Na Kabhi

Shoma Anand, aka Bina Mathurof Hum Paanch has replaced Aroona Irani as Durga Khurana in Maayka. Confirming the news, Shoma says, "I have agreed to this show because this character offers me something different. Often people have only associated me with comedy roles, thus I wanted to break this iamge." This is the first time Shoma will be playing a negative character in a TV show. Will the telly viewer accept her in this role? She replies, "I'm happy to be doing a powerful role. I've been longing to portray such a character. I'm sure my admirers will like me in this avatar."

Shraddha Nigam is back to work after spending a fortnight by the side of her mother who was down with a lung infection. The actor with a natural hair perm leaves for Dubai on 10 April to shoot for a Pakistani show called<em> Kabhi Na Kabhi.</em> Talking on the subject she elaborates, “I wasn’t shooting that much, so I could devote time to looking after my mother without any nagging thoughts of meeting deadlines." She adds that Pak serial revolves around three girls who have found their soul-mates in the first season of the show that has already had its run.

She is one of the most versatile actresses on television and has just completed a Pakistani series titled <em>Kabhi Na Kabhi</em> for Pakistani channel, ARY. Shraddha Nigam has come back from Dubai where she was shooting with Tina Parekh and Himani Shivpuri and a host of Pakistani actors.
