Ekam and Nehmat's past love relationship is finally revealed to Harleen. However, Harleen is not ready to stop loving Ekam. 

Advait is trying hard to make Nehmat and Ekam’s chemistry apparent so he can make it a major reason for their divorce. But before he could be successful in his nasty plan, Nehmat exposes Advait’s affair.

Advait leaves for work and hugs Nehmat. He romantically kisses on her forehead only to irk Ekam. Ekam and Nehmat still love each other but they are tied amid their own boundaries. Advait takes advantage to make Ekam jealous.

After the terrorist attack, Advait can’t let Nehmat and Ekam rekindle their love and stain his political image. Thus, a big twist comes up when he intentionally appoints Ekam as his bodyguard. 

Advait knowingly keeps Ekam as his bodyguard so that he can make the latter jealous everytime he gets close to Nehmat. While Ekam feels anguish and helpless, Nehmat feels guilty. 

After Ekam saves Harleen without worrying about his own life, the latter is infatuated by him. Harleen surprises Ekam by wearing a shrug of his name and later comes to his house to see him. 

Advait gets into major trouble, he takes Jasmine's help to prove that he was living in Canada. Jasmine thus obliges by giving him Canadian citizenship, however in return, she also gets his signature on confession papers that Harleen is his legal wife.   

Jasmine's plan to get Naaz and Advait married failed drastically. So she decides to call Harleen to India.

Shamsher and Advait organize a lavish New Year party where Ekam takes care of the police security. Advait tries at every given opportunity to get close to Nehmat, making Ekam super jealous. 

During the grand New Year party, terrorists attack and create havoc. Unfortunately, Harleen and Nehmat get kidnapped and Jagga’s gang blackmails Ekam to surrender or they will kill both the kidnapped girls.
