Remote control

Hats Off Productions brings Remote Control on 9X. It’s a story of a middle class family and their simple life. They are very happy and content with life until the time a TV enters their home. “The title of the show revolves around the story. With the ever growing number of channels we get restless and demand for more. It has a philosophy which suggests that you want more than one thing in your life. Life too is similar to television sets. We always expect more from life,” says the producer J D Majethia.

Aatish Kapadia's scripting glory!

Aatish Kapadia who pens the highly popular daily soap Baa Bahu Aur Baby of Hats Off Productions, has crossed a milestone in his scripting career. Apparently news has it that he has crossed the 1700 episode mark, which comprises 1000 odd episodes of Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka, and the rest scored for Khichdi, Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai and Baa bahu Aur Baby together. And it goes without saying; all three serials have been primetime success stories!

Naya channel - naye shows!

After Utsav, Star Plus is ready with another proposed sibling. Tentatively titled P2, this one won't run rehashes, but some really interesting fare. That Ekta Kapoor will unleash her Kannu Ki Kismat Mein Kya Hai on P2 is already known. We now have it on authority that the channel, to launch in October, will also have a comedy show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, a half-hour weekly. Produced by Hats Off Productions (who made Khichdi for Star Plus), it will star Satish Shah, Ratna Pathak, Sumeet Raghavan, Rupali Ganguly and Reeta Bhaduri.
