Remember the shrewd, scheming manupulating dame in Star Plus' Kumkum? Renuka, the character played by Tassnim Sheikh, is back with a vengence in the show. "Yes, I am back in Kumkum, and the track is still negative. I have always enjoyed playing Renuka since it is an interesting character," says Tassnim, who currently plays Mohini in <em>Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi</em>.

After a ramp walk with female models, Sony's <em>Kkusum</em> gears up for a fashion show with male models for a one hour special that airs this Sunday. After <em>Kkusum</em> managed to capture attention, it is now Abhay's turn. Well, most leads on Indian television have re-worked on their looks and Abhay too is determined to change his looks…himself! "This is not Jassi…This is <em>Kkusum</em> (he said this funnily on the numerically adjusted title). I have done my look on my own," announces the suave scion of Elder Pharma. Nothing except Anuj Saxena's hair has undergone treatment. He will be seen sporting straight hair with shades of blonde.

It's summer time and the naughty Jeeya of Star Plus' witchy show <em>Shararat</em> decides to explore the fun outside her house. She sets out camping with her family and has a great time. She is joined in by everyone except her mother played by Poonam Narula. Poonam who was on a maternity leave has started shooting for <em>Kkusum</em> as Mahi. She will start shooting for <em>Shararat</em> next month. Until then, the serial has shifted its focus to college life.

After innumerable twists and turns in its plot, Sony's <em>Kkusum</em> will finally have its lead - its third lead, to be precise. Shilpa Saklani start shooting for the show from 13 May. Confirming the news that has been doing the round for quite a few days, Shilpa says, "Yes, I am doing <em>Kkusum</em>, and I will start shooting from day after tomorrow".

Tashu bua, aka, Narayani Shastri seems to be a discontented lady. Her track in Balaji's <em>Kkusum</em>, is going nowhere, and the lady has decided to stay away from shooting for a while. "Yes, I have stopped shooting for <em>Kkusum</em>, since my track wasn't going anywhere. The last meeting that I had with Ekta, I decided that until something decent comes up, I will not re-enter the show," confirmed Narayani.

Rucha Gujarati has been finalised to play the lead in Zee's forthcoming <em>Palkhi</em>, but the dates issue with Sony's <em>Kkusum</em> continues to shackle her feet. "That is the dilemma I am in. I'll have to manage both somehow…" sighs the petite actress.
