Mehul Kajaria is playing a negative role in Ratna Sinha’s <em> Babul Ka Aangan Chootey Na</em> for the first time. He became popular as Harsh Virani, the henpecked husband in <em> Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhii Bahu Thi.</em> Mehul is very excited with the role that he is essaying in the serial. He says, “I am playing Vinay Joshi (protagonist’s brother) who is selfish and overambitious and lacks emotions. He wants to go to America to make money.” He adds, “Vinay can stoop down to any level to fulfill his dream and he hates to be associated with the middle-class. His dream is to become rich.”

The good-looking Pulkit Samrat who plays Lakshya in<em> Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhii Bahu Thi</em> has dragged Ekta Kapoor (Balaji telefilms) the producer of the show to court over non-payment of dues and prohibiting him from working with other producers due to the 3 year contract with Balaji.

It is some brother bonding happening on the sets of <em> Kyunkii.. </em> Hiten Tejwani who plays the character of Karan in <em> Kyunkii </em> has his brother Hitesh directing the serial. Hitesh has joined back <em> Kyunkii</em> as an independent director from the 4th of January this year.

Not only this Pulkit who was earlier supposed to participate in NDTV Imagine’s music based reality show<em> Say Shaava Shaava,</em> is no longer doing the show.

<em> Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhii Bahu Thi’</em> s Gayatri chachi is all set to make her cameo appearance on Zee TV’s <em> Chaldi Da Naam Gaddi</em>. The graceful actress is essaying the role of a Principal of a school. Kamalika says, “I have worked with J.D. Majethia earlier for his production <em> Baa Bahoo Aur Baby</em>. When he called me again to do a cameo for his serial <em> Chaldi Da Naam Gaddi </em> I agreed immediately. I play the character of a Principal and I am going to be there for three to four episodes.”
