Story of revenge and reincarnation takes a leap with Makkhi

Stories about revenge and reincarnation are not new to Bollywood. But the main protagonist turning into a fly to seek revenge of his death and to save his lady love, is something new here. In SS Rajamouli's film <em>Makkhi</em> is the revenge story of a super fly. Says Reliance Entertainment CEO Sanjeev Lamba, "Led by the vision of SS Rajamouli and D Suresh Babu, the film has become a huge success in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. We're extremely pleased to bring the film to the Hindi audiences as <em>Makkhi</em> and hope that it will get the huge success it deserves."

Makkhi has scene of flies emulating Salman Khan's towel dance

Just a few days ago, we had reported that SS Rajamouli, the film’s producer, as a tribute to Ajay Devgn, adding a bonus scene that showed the fly emulating the star standing on two horses with it standing on two of its likes in <em>Makkhi</em>. Now, we bring you the news that the filmmaker has also added a Salman Khan flavour towards the end of this Hindi version of Telugu animation film <em>Eega</em>. Said a source that in a sequence towards the end credits we can see flies imitating a popular Salman Khan dance move with a towel.

Makkhi reprises Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardaar act

Everyone knows the kind of relations Telugu director S.S. Rajamouli shares with Ajay Devgn with the latter already remaking Son of Sardaar from the former’s Telugu hit <em>Maryada Ramanna</em>. The film is all set to release on 13 November during Diwali. But, till we await for the festive season of Diwali, there is someone who is doing the now famous horse riding stunt done by the action hero himself. It is none other than <em>Makkhi</em>.
