Rukmini and Sumedh needs to visit the Kuldevi temple where they have booked a car and eight of them will be travelling together. Kesar makes sure everyone fits in the car where she asks Rukmini to sit on Sumedh's lap as he is her husband.

All the rituals back in Thakkar family is done where Rukmini gets to her room. Now she wants to share something with Sumedh her husband.

Malhar meets with deadly accident on the wedding day of Sumedh and Rukmini. Poor Malhar was rushed to hospital where he failed to see Rukmini as Sumedh's bride. Now Malhar has recovered where he is ready to get back to work.

Kesar Baa is proud of getting an ideal Bahu like Rukhmini who is not only Sanskari but also has long hair and is a perfect partner for Sumedh. Unfortunately, during the Muh-dikhayi ceremony, Rukhmini fails to fix her hair wig.

Rukmini is married and they reach Dwarka. Where now Kesar Baa does not reveal the face to anyone and asks Rukmini to adorn her Ghungat properly. During the time of Grihapravesh it is seen that there is no water in their house and there is crisis of water.

Rukhmini sacrifices her dreams and goals to marry Sumedh for her father’s sake. Piyush is angry to know about Sumedh’s tea business but he steps back to protect Rukhmini from insult and humiliation.

Rukmini and Sumedh will get married very quickly without realise that they are very different from each other. Sumedh is a simple and illiterate man with very low self-esteem. Rukmini on the other hand is a very highly educated woman who dreams of becoming an IPS Officer one day.

Rukmini and Sumedh are getting married after lots of twist and turns. Rukmini is packing her bags and will be taking all her books along with her. Fai Baa and Sonal will not be happy with this move as they know Rukmini’s in laws are very conservative and might not approve of this habit.

Kesar Baa takes an oath to get Sumedh married asap within 10 days. Eventually, she succeeds as Rukhmini's family likes Sumedh and they fix their marriage. Rukhmini kills her dream of becoming an IPS officer as she sacrifices her happiness for her father.

Sumedh and Rukmini have got engaged and this is a big moment for everyone around them. Sumedh is very optimistic about his marriage as it’s a big moment of his life. He will be seen making place for Rukmini in his cupboard and life as he has already fallen in love with her and thinks about her all the time.
