The buzz has been that veteran actor Mohnish Behl, who plays Dr Ashutosh, may no longer be associated with the show and a senior actor will be brought in to enact the role. The show is focused on an older man's - played by Mohnish - amorous relationship with a younger colleague Nidhi (Kritika Kamra) who works with him in a hospital.

TV shows are increasingly treading the filmy way. Director’s Kut’s latest offering <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/kuch-toh-log-kahenges-music-team-missing-music-launch>Kuch Toh Log Kahenge</a> on Sony is nothing less than a 70 mm film as its plot is replete with all the necessary filmy ingredients. The show depicts a heart-warming love story between people of two different generations. And to make the show spicier the makers have decided to introduce a track similar to a popular Bollywood movie in the upcoming episodes.

The television series is being re-written by well-known writer Kamlesh Pandey who has also written the script of <em>Rang De Basanti</em>.
