Mukesh Bhatt
Vishesh Bhatt, son of producer Mukesh Bhatt who has named the banner after his son has never been more nervous.
Says the anxious father, ‘We’ve been producing films for 25 years. I’ve never been more nervous in my entire career as a producer. One thing I can tell you. My son has done me and the banner proud. We named our production house after my son Vishesh. Today I feel he has justified the production house’s name. The film is not like any other film in the Murder franchise.”

The current anti-Pakistan mood has taken its toll on Bollywood. Singer-actor Ali Zafar was not allowed to perform at a concert this week, thereby putting a question mark on all future collaborations between Bollywood and Pakistani artistes.
Of immediate concern is Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt’s prestigious thriller Murder 3 which stars the Pakistani actress Mona Lizza, now re-christened Sara Loren, who gets a glamorous re-launch in the film after a disastrous Bollywood debut in 2008 in Pooja Bhatt’s Kajra Re.

Veteran film producer Mukesh Bhatt (Vishesh Films) has snubbed the latest Rs 100 crore film club. “It’s a creation by sections of the media to help spread a feel-good factor for their constituencies,” Bhatt quipped.
But some films have been collecting Rs 100 crore? “Don’t mix up two things. Which film actually ends up making Rs 100 cores for its makers? These figures comprise deducted entertainment tax, gross collections and 20 per cent distributors share etc.

Producer Mukesh Bhatt is an aggrieved man. The revising committee of the Censor Board (CBFC) while granting his film Jannat 2 a U/A certificate, has used a rider along with that it can be aired on TV only after 11 pm.
Avers Bhatt, “This is ridiculous! Can you have a red signal for the autos and the other for a car? Why this discrimination? Both Agneepath and Jannat 2 are granted U/A certificates, the Karan Johar film is telecast in the prime time slot and mine relegated to the 11 pm, so called adult slot.”
