Rukmini and Sumedh will get married very quickly without realise that they are very different from each other. Sumedh is a simple and illiterate man with very low self-esteem. Rukmini on the other hand is a very highly educated woman who dreams of becoming an IPS Officer one day.

Rukmini and Sumedh are getting married after lots of twist and turns. Rukmini is packing her bags and will be taking all her books along with her. Fai Baa and Sonal will not be happy with this move as they know Rukmini’s in laws are very conservative and might not approve of this habit.

Kesar Baa takes an oath to get Sumedh married asap within 10 days. Eventually, she succeeds as Rukhmini's family likes Sumedh and they fix their marriage. Rukhmini kills her dream of becoming an IPS officer as she sacrifices her happiness for her father.

Sumedh and Rukmini have got engaged and this is a big moment for everyone around them. Sumedh is very optimistic about his marriage as it’s a big moment of his life. He will be seen making place for Rukmini in his cupboard and life as he has already fallen in love with her and thinks about her all the time.

Sumedh and Rukmini get engaged and now their marriage proceedings begind too. Where both of them are seen in mixed emotions. Rukmini does this marriage for the sake of her fathers happiness where during the marriage day there is some problem as the Chaiwala fails to reach the venue on time.

Kesar Baa is trying to get a perfect match for Sumedh. She will get rabri from her house but adds lemon in it as she will wants to test Rukmini’s smartness. Rukmini will use her wits and makes another sweet dish out of the rabri that Kesar bought.

Kesar and Fai Baa will fix Sumedh and Rukmini’s marriage. Rukmini has no idea that Sumedh is school dropout and feels that he is a Navy Officer as she has seen his picture with a Navy Uniform.

Rukmini is trying to prove her innocence as she is being targeted for something she has no control on. Her aunt will get a match for her and will want Rukmini to marry her. Rukmini’s father will see Sumedh’s picture and recalls seeing him.

Sumedh will reach Rajkot to meet Rukmini as his prospective bride. Sumedh will be all set to marry Rukmini and the latter too agrees but the latter will be in trouble for her long hair as the family lied to her about short hair.
