Our readers will very well remember that Shaheeh Sheikh of Navya fame had long back been finalized to essay the role of Arjun in Swastik Productions’ long-awaited mythological show for Star Plus, <em>Mahaabhaarat</em>. Shaheer who has a huge fan following has been getting quite a lot of offers, but the actor is eagerly waiting for his dream project <em>Mahabhaarat</em> to happen.

Navya did not end abruptly: Soumya Seth

Soumya Seth, who is all set to impress the audience again with Sony Entertainment Television’s new show Khoobsurat, disputes the assumption that her debut Star Plus show <em>Navya</em> was a flop. “It did well. We ran for a good one year. One can say that a show has done badly only if it winds up within two or three months.”

Gagan Malik essays the role of Buddha in the movie Siddharth -The Buddha

<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/gagan-malik-enter-navya>Gagan Malik</a>, who was last seen in Star Plus’ Navya, has just returned from a three month long schedule in Srilanka where he shot for the movie <em>Siddharth-The Buddha</em>. Produced by Navin Gooneratne, the movie will show the journey of Gautam Buddha from his age of eighteen to his thirty sixth year, i.e. till the time he attained enlightenment. Noted Director Chandram Ratnam has directed the movie.

Shaheer Sheikh is not a part of Humsafar

TV heartthrob Shaheer Sheikh has become a household name now, thanks to his spirited performance as Anant in Star Plus’ <em>Navya</em>. The show produced by Swastik Pictures, is going off air on 29 June (2012) and media reports suggested that Shaheer has been signed to play an important role in Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming show, <em>Humsafar</em> (produced by Sphere Origins). Reports also suggested that he will share screen space with Himmanshoo Malhotra.
