Sony’s <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/kuch-toh-log-kahenge-does-dil-pagal-hai>Kuch Toh Log Kahenge</a>, which is a remake of the popular Pakistani television drama <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/dhoop-kinare-being-remade-after-25-years-sony>Dhoop Kinare</a>, has struck the right chords with the masses. And in order to add a touch of humour, the makers have decided to bring in a new character in the show.

Alankar Shrivastava, husband of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/nupur-now-play-laalis-mother-agle-janam>Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo</a> fame <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/snippets/no-more-substitution-nupur-alankar>Nupur Alankar</a>, will be seen in an online cookery show called <em>Bachelor’s Cooking</em>. The show which will be aired on YouTube from October 13, 2011 has been produced by two brothers Naveen and Ashish. Furthermore, Alankar is not only the host of the show but also part of the production team.

Nupur Alankar who was last seen in <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/sargun-mehta-play-phulwa-after-leap>Phulwa</a> is all set to enter Star Plus' show <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/aryan-sharma-play-chotu-diya-aur-baati-hum>Diya Aur Baati Hum</a> which went on air last night. Her character will bring both the leads together in the show.

<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/nupur-play-niveditas-boss-chand-chupa>Nupur Alankar</a> will be replacing <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/bhojpuri-actress-reena-rani-phulwa>Reena Rani</a> who plays Phulwa’s mother in <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/shankar-accused-marrying-phulwa>Phulwa</a>. A source says, “The production house has brought in actress Nupur Alankar to replace the Bhojpuri actress Reena. Reena was playing Phulwa’s mother Imarti on the show.

Nupur Alankar is entering <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/sid-nivi-break-enter-kinshuk-mahajan>Chand Chupa Badal Mein</a> as Nivedita’s (<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/snippets/kiss-miss-neha-sargam>Neha Sargam</a>) boss and she is a wedding planner too.

Tuhina, who played Laali’s mother on Zee’s <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/laalis-godh-bharai-agle-janam>Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo</a> is no longer part of it. <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/snippets/nupurs-flight-forgets-carry-her-luggage-aisa-bhi-hota-hai>Nupur Alankar</a> has replaced her and would henceforth play Majri’s character in the show. Apparently, Tuhina is on maternity leave.

It seems Nupur Alankar’s social deeds have influenced many on the sets of <em> Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan.</em> All the actors from the show are helping one of the spot boys for his daughter’s marriage. They are contributing Rs.2000 each to help Hussain, the spot boy. Earlier Nupur Alankar had helped a spot boy named Badshah with money, some years ago when his son met with an accident. Then she funded Rafeeq, from the arts department, who needed money for his daughter’s marriage.
