Paresh Rawal has found a comforting compatriot in Akshay Kumar. After Oh My God, which they have co-produced, Paresh is all set to once again team up with Akshay, in spite of the protests against the film. Reveals Paresh, “We haven’t really decided what Akshay and I will co-produce next. But we’ll definitely work together again. He has been a treat to work with. I have my production house <em>Playtime Creations</em>. I feel comfortable working with Akshay. As an actor I have to create opportunities of my own. Akshay is a good ally in this endeavour.”

The producers of Priyadarshan’s latest comic romp Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal(KDM) are under very serious pressure to postpone their release date so that it doesn’t clash with Akshay Kumar’s godly comedy Oh My God(OMG). However, the OMG team is not budging, come what may. Both the films are slated for a September 28 release. Apparently the KDM producers have been besieged with “requests” from the other camp to move forward, as a clash between the two films, both essentially comedies, doesn’t make any box office sense.

If all goes well, Rajinikanth may enact the title role of God in the Tamil version of Oh My God (OMG). Of late, Ashwini Yardi, Akshay Kumar's business partner in Grazing Goat Productions, the co-producer of OMG that stars Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar, has been answering enquiries from filmmakers down South who were inquiring whether she was interested in selling the rights of the film.

Since the upcoming Akshay Kumar-Sonakshi Sinha-starrer Oh My God is based on the Gujarati play <em>Kanji Virrudh Kanji</em> and the Hindi play <em>Krishan Vs Kanhaiya</em>, the makers have come up with a different ending. But, the director Umesh Shukla and his writer felt otherwise. Hence, they shot two different climaxes. It is said that Sonakshi Sinha has left for Muscat with both the versions for the leading man to see and zero in on the final climax.

Recently, India’s most accomplished male dancer Prabhu Deva shot a Janmashtami dahi handi breaking song for Akshay Kumar’s <em>Oh My God</em>. Accompanying the magical dancer was Sonakshi Sinha who's rapidly emerging as one of the better female dancers in the industry. Says Prabhu, “Sonakshi dances really well. She has great timing and wonderful grace. The last time I enjoyed keeping pace with someone so much was Madhuri Dixit when we did the <em>Que Sera Sera</em> number in <em>Pukar</em>.”

Akshay Kumar, the king of action, will be seen curzing on a super-bike, especially designed by Vardenchi Motorcycles for his upcoming film Oh My God (OMG)! Said a source, “It took Vardenchi 45 days to make a specially designed chopper especially for Akshay Kumar in OMGM. It was designed keeping in mind the look of the film and the splendid personality of Akshay. The actor loved the design and was very impressed by the drool factor of the motorcycle.”
