Actress Prabhleen Sandhu is on cloud nine as her maiden film as protagonist Shahid has been officially selected to be premiered in the Toronto International Film Festival 2012. The movie is the true story of slain human rights activist and lawyer Shahid Azmi, who was killed in 2010 by unidentified assailants in his office. The film starring Raj Kumar Yadav and Prabhleen Sandhu will take us through the journey of Shahid and his wife Maryam, played by Rajkumar and Prabhleen. T

A lot has been reported about Balaji Telefilms’ joint venture with writer Saba Mumtaz’s Red Blue White Films, titled Tere Ishq Nachaye for Zee TV. We had earlier reported that Nishant Malkani, who was almost finalized to play the lead role, is no longer a part of the show. We now hear that a new face from Kolkata has been finalized to play the male lead. The story will revolve around this guy (much younger in age) and the manner in which he falls for a girl who is older than him.
