Film Review: I Me Aur Main

Starring: John Abraham, Chitrangda Singh, Prachi Desai, Raima Sen, Mini Mathur Directed by Kapil Sharma Rating: *** What do you with a self-obsessed guy like Ishaan who shoulders no responsibility except that to his iron-board torso and matinee-idol posturing, who takes everyone from Mom, Sis and Girlfriend to success, friendship and karma for granted? John Abraham plays the kind of narcissist whose life is just waiting to fall apart. It does, soon enough leaving him...well, high and not quite dry.

Script changes to accommodate Sanjay Dutt's new co-star Prachi Desai

Our leading men’s leading ladies are becoming progressively misleading. Sanjay Dutt who turned 53 this month would be romancing the 24-year old Prachi Desai in his new cops film Thanedaar Returns. And to ensure that the age difference doesn’t jar, the script is being modified to justify the gap of 29 years between the hero and heroine. The last time there was such a yawning gap between the lead pair was when Anil Kapoor played Kareena Kapoor’s husband in Bewafaa. And there the age gap was justified by the fact that Kareena was Anil’s second wife in the film.
