Balaji’s new show Pyaar Ka Bandhan had been looking for its fourth lead since quite some time. Finally they have zeroed in on Karan Sharma who was last seen playing a blind man in <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/baby-finds-new-partner>Baa Bahu Aur Baby</a></em>. Allegedly Karan Sharma is not very happy to bag the role of Aziz aka <em>Chotu</em> in <em>Pyaar Ka Bandhan</em>as he has lost a meatier role. He was finalised to play the lead in Balaji’s other show <em>Bayttaab Dil Ki Tamanna Hai</em>, but was dropped later because he has very boyish looks.

Kritika Kamra who was last seen as Arohi in Kitani Mohabbat Hai will now be seen in Sony's Pyaar Ka Bandhan. Kritika was earlier approached for the role of one of the siblings in the show, but she had earlier turned down the offer. It was said that since there are three other leads in the show, Kritika may be left unnoticed and this was the reason that she had denied being the part of the show.
