If all goes well, Rajinikanth may enact the title role of God in the Tamil version of Oh My God (OMG). Of late, Ashwini Yardi, Akshay Kumar's business partner in Grazing Goat Productions, the co-producer of OMG that stars Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar, has been answering enquiries from filmmakers down South who were inquiring whether she was interested in selling the rights of the film.

According to reports, producer M S Guhan is overseeing the 3D conversion of the film and the special effects house, which has also worked on the 3D conversion of some Hollywood films, had earlier shown their works to Guhan, after which the latter hit upon the idea to give Sivaji a 3D treatment.
