All the films of Akshay Kumar released this year have proved to be hits right from <em>Housefull2,</em> to <em>Rowdy Rathore</em> and then <em>Oh My God</em>.
With the return of the Khiladi franchise, Akshay Kumar has certainly wooed the whole nation with his Khiladi charm yet again. How else would one explain the rush and house full boards in single screens as well as multiplexes for <em>Khiladi 786!</em

Having garnered a name for himself with two of his initial films- Salman Khan’s <em>Wanted</em> and Akshay Kumar’s <em>Rowdy Rathore,</em> Prabhu Deva has been signed by Tips Industries Limited and Kumar Taurani for his next <em>Ramaiya Vastavaiya.</em>
Apparently, the Tauranis had signed on Prabhu immediately post the success of <em>Wanted</em> for a different film. However, after Prabhu narrated the musical love story to them and said that he was keen on directing it, did the producer change his mind.

Signaling the making of a sequel of Akshay Kumar-Sonakshi Sinha starrer Rowdy Rathore in Hindi soon, the remake of the same in Telugu has been announced.
The Hindi film, that was directed by Prabhudeva, was a remake of the Telugu Film <em>Vikramarkudu</em>.
Sources have confirmed that the sequel to the Telugu version which was directed by S S Rajamouli would be made. It has also been confirmed that Rajamouli won’t be wearing the director’s cap; instead his assistant Koti will direct the film. The sequel would however be produced by Rajamouli.

Rowdy Rathore’s maverick director Prabhu Deva is all set to do a Sonakshi Sinha on Shruti Haasan. The so-far luckless in Bollywood star from <em>Luck</em> will be re-launched in style and with substance to go, by Prabhu opposite Kumar Taurani’s son Girish in a hard-hitting massy love story that begins shooting next month.
Prabhu Deva and Shruti go back a long way. Shruti’s father Kamal Haasan has worked closely with Prabhu’s choreographer-father.
Says a source, “Prabhu has taken on himself the onus of re-launching Shruti in Hindi.”
