Rucha Gujarati

Rucha Gujarati is on a high! First the pretty lady bagged the lead role in Star Plus' <em>Bhabhi</em> and now the lady has appeared in a sweet little cameo in the channel's recently launched show, <em>Pyaar Ke Do Naam, Ek Raadha, Ek Shyaam</em>. "Well, it's a cameo, but they might continue it! I am not sure about that! I will be there for tommorow's (Wednesday) episode as well!" laughs the petite actress.

Rucha Gujarati, who had been lying low with a bad back for the last 10 days, is back on the sets. Rucha, who was diagnosed with a threatened slipped disc after persistent pain in the lower back, was prescribed complete bed rest. After spending over a week at home, Rucha is back at her shoots since the weekend, partially recovered. "I am better now," she says tentatively, "but I have to take a lot of precautions while working." Besides of course, also try and regulate her working hours.

A doctor, actor and now a producer, Anuj 'Abhay' Saxena has donned these garbs with élan. He hosted a party at Rock Bottom last weekend to celebrate the launch of his production house, Maverick. This actor who has earned the not so flattering title of the 'most married man on television' proved to be an ideal host, escorting not only his celebrity friends, but also scribes onto the dance floor. We spotted his onscreen daughter, Rucha Gujarati having a blast on the dance floor. It was a sight to see Anuj dragging Savita Prabhune onto the dance floor and forcing her to shake a leg.

After Kumud, it's Kali's turn to get a makeover. Rucha Gujarati, who plays Kali in <em>Kkusum</em> has gone in for a complete blonde look, complete with a fringe. Rucha, the bubbly girl, who's been playing vicious half sister to Kumud and a flesh in the thorn to Garv and Kumud, says the makeover is in line with the changes the <em>Kkusum</em> plot is taking, as well as for her own self.
