Saath Phere actors on a disappearing act

Come the end of this month (November) and the sets of Zee's <em> Saat Phere <em>will wear a deserted look with just a few actors performing before the camera. And if you are wondering why, it is because a majority of the cast is going on leave just when Rajshri Thakur aka Saloni has resumed after an attack of dengue. The current track is keeping the viewers glued to the TV sets with the suspense of Jiji's secret being revealed to Nahar.

Lalit Sen, the music man behind TV shows!

What is common between<em> Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan, Kasamh Se, Karam Apna Apna</em> and <em>Saat Phere.</em> Well, all these shows share a common music director Lalit Sen who is casting his spell more on television than films. It's a challenge for the music director to pack in as much creativity possible in the forty five seconds title track that he gets to compose. Afterall, it's the title track which sets the tone of a serial.

Aditi Pratap turns anchor!

Aditi Pratap who's currently been seen in Zee TV's <em>Saat Phere </em>is now out to shed her image of the archetypal trouble creating <em>maike-staying</em> sis-in-law. The actor is all set to anchor a weekend special show for Zee on the recently concluded Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week show in the capital.

Sunjoy does a Saptapadi after Saat Phere

After enjoying the ratings ride with Zee TV's<em> Saat Phere,</em> Sunjoy Wadhwa (Sphere Origin) is all busy readying his brand new show for Star One. And interestingly, the show has also been tentatively titled on the same lines -<em> Saptapadi (seven vows of Hindu marriage). The channel has not yet zeroed down on a telecast date. Aditi Pratap gets back to ads!

Aditi Pratap currently seen in <em>Saat Phere</em> as Saloni's sister-in-law began her career with a host of ad campaigns followed by television shows, is back to featuring in ad campaigns again. The actor was the first face for Pantaloons products and is working with the same ad makers for Central malls (in Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad) and this time around she is working with her younger brother Anirrudh Pratap in the campaign. The actor got the ad campaign three weeks back and the hoardings are all over the three cities.

Sharad Kelkar to be Saloni's hubby in Saat Phere!!

Every serial is now bringing in twists and turns to spice up our evenings! Saat Phere is not far behind! The show has roped in a new character who will take the show on a completely new level. Sharad Kelkar, who plays Rudra in <em>Sinndoor</em> will be playing the role of <em>Nahar Singh</em> "Yes, I was offered the role and I grabbed it. I will marry Saloni. The character sounds good and I am definitely looking foward to it," says Sharad.

Jassi...director quits!

Rajan Shahi, the director of Sony's driver show, <em>Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin</em> has decided to bid goodbye to the show. He will now direct the Sunjoy Wadhwa show on Zee, <em>Saat Phere.</em> Rajan, who directs <em>Miilee</em> on Star Plus, will be directing the Zee show from this week. "Well, lt was decided at the ouset that I would do a certain phase of <em>Jassi</em>...and then take over Tony-Deeya's next show on Zee," says Rajan, who is very impressed with Rajshree Thakur, the actress who plays Saloni in <em>Saat Phere</em>.
