Actress Prabhleen Sandhu is on cloud nine as her maiden film as protagonist Shahid has been officially selected to be premiered in the Toronto International Film Festival 2012. The movie is the true story of slain human rights activist and lawyer Shahid Azmi, who was killed in 2010 by unidentified assailants in his office. The film starring Raj Kumar Yadav and Prabhleen Sandhu will take us through the journey of Shahid and his wife Maryam, played by Rajkumar and Prabhleen. T

Shahid Kapoor will be on the finale of Dance Premier League. He was a special guest and announced the winner too. A source from the show says: “For the pre-finale episode, we had Irfan and Yusuf Pathan. They had a gala time on the show and did a jig with the contestants. On the final episode, we have Shahid promoting his film <em>Chance Pe Dance</em>. He seemed to be in a great mood. He and Rani were very comfortable with each other and shared few memories of shooting together. Shahid also shook a leg with Rani and the other contestants of the show.”

Shahid has all the kids on his new film <em> Paathshala </em> eating out of his palm. The actor recently shot with a group of children for good friend Ahmed Khan's <em> Paathshala</em> the film in which he has a special appearance. The children had a wonderful time interacting with him. Avika Gor, who has won the audience's hearts with <em> Ballika Vadhu </em>, gushes, "Shahid came across to be very calm. He was very co-operative and patient with us. He did not mind if we goofed our lines and had to give a take once again."
