Ashita Dhawan Gulabani has been away from the limelight of television for the past 8-9 months, as she is expecting her first baby!! However, the actress is excited about the fact that the industry has not forgotten her.
In a conversation with <em>Tellychakkar.com</em>, Ashita says, “Though I have not been seen on TV for some time now, I have been getting calls for challenging roles. I have been telling many that the time is right for them to talk, but I cannot take up any show as I am in the family way (smiles).”

Ashita Dhawan, who is popularly known as Malti Bhabhi of Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai, is apparently going the family way, and is pretty excited about embracing parenthood.
Ashita and Shailesh Gulabani got married on 20 January 20 2010 and since then, the lovely couple has been living life ‘kingsize’.
Our reliable sources have informed that Ashita has taken a break from acting, as she is expecting. However, the couple wants to keep their happiness under guard due to auspicious reasons.
