The makers of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/snippets/jhamelas-nominations-tasks-bigg-boss>Bigg Boss</a> season 5 is shifting from the initial strategy of an all-female-with-one-male cast. After climbing the TRP chart with this particular ploy the channel have now decided to bring in more male contestants in the house. After <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/shakti-kapoor-bigg-boss-5>Amar Upadhyay</a>, the latest news that is floating in from the sets of <em>Bigg Boss</em> is that MTV VJ Siddharth Bhardwaj might be the next hot bod to enter the house.

The launch of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/snippets/heres-lowdown-new-improved-bigg-boss-house>Bigg Boss 4</a> is just a day away and the channel seems to be still putting its contestants together. We hear <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/bad-man-gulshan-and-aaooo-shakti-judge-comedy-circus>Shakti Kapoor</a> was approached for the show. A source informs, “Shakti Kapoor had been approached thanks to his controversial image. He has even signed the dotted line and will be seen with the other inmates. The crew has already started shooting for the show.”

If Govinda judged the first episode of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/its-champions-versus-challengers-comedy-ke-superstars>Comedy Circus Ke Superstars</a> on Sony Entertainment Television, then the latest news is Gulshan Grover and Shakti Kapoor would be seen judging the ‘villain special’ episode.

Who are going to be the inmates of the second season of<em> Bigg Boss</em>? That’s the question on every tellywatcher’s mouth. A few names have emerged but there still is no confirmation yet. We had reported about Jhanvi Kapoor’s entry just a few days ago. Speculation is now rife about many celebs being part of the show. But the two strong contenders are Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal and bad man Shakti Kapoor. A source says, “Faisal has indeed been offered <em>Big Boss 2</em> and to my knowledge he’s accepted it”

Last week, Shakti Kapoor invoked the ire of other contestants after he was allowed to perform without his ailing wife Shivangi on <em>Nach Bailye 3</em>. Her condition hardly improved so he was left to dance alone. So, to avoid any controversies, Shakti has opted out of the reality show. "I want to make it clear that we weren't eliminated but we chose to opt out. Shivangi's back is still hurting and I'm no longer enjoying dancing without her. It was a collective decision," says Shakti.

Some people never learn. Bollywood baddie Shakti Kapoor's brush with a sting operation on India TV, telecast yesterday, was not the only incident in his diary. Music channel MTV tried a similar gimmick on him in February, two months after his India TV tryst, and the screen villain fell for that trap too, hook, line and sinker.

<em>Aaiyi Aaiyi O!</em> Tinselville's veteran baddie Shakti Kapoor is grossly upset. Reason? Saturday afternoon, he was targeted, courtesy the <em>MTV Bakra</em> team. According to Kapoor, "I was doing a photo-shoot at Rakesh Shreshta's studio. Sandeep of <em>Bombay Times</em> called and said that he wanted to interview me. I asked him to come to Shreshta's studio but he said that he had a girl who also wanted to interview me for an Irish paper. So we fixed up the meeting at Lokhandwala's Barista outlet."
