However, the project has been facing some delays due to its dark concept. Our readers would remember that Tellychakkar.com had written about the show having a central character of the <em>Rakshak</em>, played by Rajesh Shringarpure who comes as a saviour and fights crime with crime, and brutally murders people who are evil-minded and the ones who are a thorn to the society.

Yes, the team will be partying hard as they are the number one show on Zee TV currently. In fact, before the blackout period, this show was not even in the top ten lists of shows across the GECs, but now it ranks among the top three. Plus it is also the number one show on the channel. Its last TVR was 4.5.

The production house has been roping in fresh faces for the project and the latest name on which they have zeroed in is Kiran Thapar. Kiran is a model and has also acted in a horror movie titled ‘S’ which releases last year (2011). She has been signed as the female lead. Other names apart from Kiran in the show are Rohit Sharma and Gurpreet Saini.
