While Ram Gopal Varma’s <em>The Attacks Of 26/11</em> raises nightmarish memories of the gruesome incident of 2008 that changed the profile of terror attacks forever, this week’s other release brings us bitter memories of John Abraham’s last rom-com, writer-director Abbas Tyrewala’s <em>Jhootha Hi Sahi</em>.

John Abraham to go shirtless as don Manya Surve in Shootout at Wadala

Till now many of our stars have gone shirtless, the most famous being Salman Khan who was some time ago, was lovingly called ‘the shirtless hero’ who loved taking off his shirt at the drop of a hat. But, now we will see a don going shirtless. Yes, it will be John Abraham who will go shirtless while essaying the role of mafia don Manya Surve in Sanjay Gupta’s upcoming film <em>Shootout at Wadala</em>. Said an excited Sanjay, "This is will be the first shirtless don. You will not get to see anyone else like this in Bollywood. No one will be able to compete with him (John)."

Tusshar Kapoor performs his stunts without body double for Shootout At Wadala

After trying his hands out at comedy, Tusshar Kapoor is ready to take to stunts in the literal sense with his upcoming film Shootout at Wadala. Despite being part of several dangerous scenes, the actor insisted on doing them himself minus a stunt double despite the crew warning him against it.

Drug lord Pablo Escobar inspires Manoj Bajpai

Though he’s playing Dawood Ibrahim’s brother Sabir in Shootout At Wadala, Manoj Bajpai’s entire look in the film has been modelled on Pablo Escobar, the Colombian drug lord who was killed gruesomely in 1993. The resemblance to the notorious crime-lord is so uncanny that director Sanjay Gupta claims one can switch pictures of Escobar with Bajpai’s <em>Wadala</em> look without anyone being able to tell the difference. Escobar’s look, we may add, has been the source of inspiration for generations of Columbian youngsters.

Sanjay Gupta recreates Bombay for Shootout At Wadala

Writer-director Sanjay Gupta is back with the second schedule of Balaji Motion Pictures’ Shootout At Wadala, having completed the first schedule some time ago. But there is a lot of difference between the filmmaker’s earlier films and this. While earlier movies were full of verve and style, in this film the filmmaker had to get down to the basics.
