I was sure that I wouldn't fit in the character then. I informed the makers that if the leap is happening soon then I would like to quit the show. The journey has been amazing but this is an end to it.

I am thankful that our producers Mr Sunjoy Waddhwa, Mrs Comall Sunjoy Waddhwa and the channel chose me for the portrayal of the key part in the second season of this iconic show.

Well, it was my concious decision on quitting the show as the leap will have older generation coming in.

On TV I didn't know that Daksha's Araa ra was liked or not. It took me a month when I met my friends and the people who responded about it. Then the character grew more. Even when you do a film you come to know later when the people respond to a character.

I would love to do strong women characters. Talking about Balika Vadhu, this is the first time I took a role where she doesn't speak much but takes care of the whole family and becomes the backbone of the family.
