Meenakshi has been a part of some well – known and distinguished projects in the past in the likes of Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, The Kashmir Files and Taali among others. Currently she is seen in Star Plus’ Imlie.

Menaakshi has earlier been seen in projects like ‘Khakee: The Bihar Chapter’, ‘The Kashmir Files’ and she was recently seen in ‘Taali’ starring Sushmita Sen.

Actress Sushmita Sen, who is set to play transgender activist Gauri Sawant in the web series 'Taali', took 6 months for the project but she learnt every dialogue by heart.
