He will be playing young Taani's brother Tapur in the show. It will be a dramatic week for Ananya (Garima Bhatnagar) and Anurag's life as Ananya will be forced to marry Shekhar while Anurag will realise his love for Taani.

The on going track in <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/balaji-offers-role-anupriya-saying-tere-liye>Tere Liye</a> focuses on Ananya’s (<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/garima/garima-bhatnagar-enter-tujh-sang>Garima Bhatnagar</a>) confusion on whether she should side with her father or whether she should go ahead with Ritesh. However, the future episodes will bring happiness in Ananya’s life, as her mom will now be her full support and help her in getting together with Ritesh.

Looks like viewers have warmed up to Star Plus’ new avtar and is in sync with the channel’s ‘Rishta Wahi, Soch Nayi’ tagline. Post the revamp the channel has managed as much as 443 GRPs in its kitty. The channel has 61% more points that its closest competitor Colors. Colors recorded 276 GRPs followed by Zee with 231 points.

Looks like she has moved from doing shows with a Maharashtrian backdrop to actually a Marathi soap! The show is titled <em>Majhiya Priyala Preet Kalena</em> and airs at 8 pm.

Balaji’s much-talked about project Fanaa inspired from popular book <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/riddhi-dogra-approached-play-lead-desi-twilight>Twilight</a>, is not getting appropriate lead faces. In all probability Gaurav Bajaj who was supposed to play the lead is out of the show now and it seems difficult now for the makers to launch it next month.

The show is expected to go on floors in September.
