The cast and crew of Shakuntalam Telefilms’ <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/sapne-suhaane-ladakpan-ke-team-celebrate-boost-numbers>Sapne Suhaane Ladakpan Ke</a> is all set to party tonight (5 January 2013). Yes, the team will be partying hard as they are the number one show on Zee TV currently. In fact, before the blackout period, this show was not even in the top ten lists of shows across the GECs, but now it ranks among the top three. Plus it is also the number one show on the channel. Its last TVR was 4.5.

Today, i.e. 19 December 2012 was supposed to be the D-day wherein the television industry was to get its first TRP post the two months break. While the entire industry was waiting with bated breath for the release to happen, TAM has provided a communication which states that the ‘release of TRP has been delayed’. Well, this is indeed a heart-breaker for all, as the anxiety and suspense over the manner in which the shows are faring continues… What is the reason for this delay? We give you the exact words of TAM which states,

Star Plus’ weekend telefilm series <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/ritu-vij-and-pulkit-sandhu-imrc-entertainments-telefilm-star-plus>Teri Meri Love Stories</a> has not really set the TRP meters on fire (1 TVR). And according to producer <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/siddharth-malhotra-epitome-humility-0>Siddharth Malhotra</a> (Cinevistaas), whose two telefilms go on air this Saturday and Sunday, “he will not make any more telefilms”.

Last week (week 33 of TAM), it was surprising to see Zee TV topping the TRP charts with 283 GRP. However, this week, it is in the number three position with 237 GRP. While Star Plus, that had lost its number one position last week, is back to the number one position with a 264 GRP, Colors has climbed the ladder with a 258 GRP that puts it in the number two position.
