We are back again, as usual on Wednesday morning to analyze the TRP of Week 3 of 2013. And what do we see? A turnaround in GRPs of not one, not two, but three major GECs. Well, Star Plus has done an amazing job in holding to its previous week’s GRP, i.e. 241 while Zee TV has climbed the ladder to secure the second spot with 215 GRP (compared to 195 last week). Colors devoid of Salman Khan magic over the weekends with the culmination of Bigg Boss has dropped in numbers and takes the third position with 210 GRP (245 GRP last week). <strong>Ratings of Channels: </strong>

Television is presently at a phase where the ‘Khans’ are having their ‘say’ when it comes the Television Rating Points (TRP). While last week (Week 2) saw Salman Khan repeat the success of <em>Dabangg 2</em> on the small screen with the Grand Finale of <em>Bigg Boss</em> (secured a high 4.4 TVR) on Colors, the week gone by (ratings of which will hit this Wednesday, 23 January) saw the glitter and glamour of Colors’ Screen Awards wherein the other Khan, Shah Rukh Khan tried to mesmerize viewers with his flamboyant hosting.

2013 is here and New Year means new beginnings and new opportunities. And it also means a new number game for the television industry. Yes, we are talking about TRPs. Today is Wednesday when TRPs get issues by TAM and here we are sharing the numbers and fate of shows with viewers. TAM has gone ahead to release television rating for the week 52. Like always, Star Plus is perched on the number one position (245). Colors has seen a rise and surged ahead to bag the number 2 position with 238 GRPs. Sony Entertainment Television and Zee TV tie for the third position with 198 points.

We are back to the grind when it comes to the release of ratings every week. And as promised, TAM has released the data for Week 51 today (27 December). Read on to get the latest information.

It’s just been two days since the TV industry woke up to a whole new buzz of ratings as TAM (which had earlier postponed the ratings which had to be released on 19 December) released its ratings (for weeks 41 to 50) on 24 December (2012). Further, TAM had announced that the date for Week 51 and 52 will be released on 27 December and 3 January 2013 respectively. However, a sudden curiosity and excitement was created this morning (26 December) when many in the industry (including us) hit upon a set of ratings that had data of Week 51. How did the Hindi GECs fare during the phase where the TRPs were not released? Here we give you an analysis of the weeks gone by… As per the average of 10 weeks, Star Plus maintains its Numero Uno position with 250 GRP while Colors takes the second spot with 232 GRP. It’s Wednesday yet again and we are back with TRPs. Let’s get straight down to business. Star Plus remains number one channel with 274 GRPs (has seen a spike…last week’s figure was 268). Colors’ maintains its second position with 233 GRPs while Zee TV stays at the third position with a figure of 231. However, Zee saw a huge climb from its last week figure of 217 GRPs. Sony Entertainment Television stays at number four with 205 GRPs while SAB TV and Life OK are on fifth and sixth positions with 128 and 121 GRPs respectively.

Life OK’s Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev has recreated history we can say, with its numbers catapulting with every passing week. If we had thought the wedding of Shiv (Mohit Raina) and Parvati (Sonarika Bhadoria) would bring in the best of the numbers, the story ahead has kept the audience glued like never before.
