Aamir Khan’s show Satyamev Jayate is so wide and intense that broadcaster Star India is now looking at other stars with a level of commitment to bring in similar gravitas to traditional television entertainment.
Post Satyamev Jayate Star Plus has been seriously exploring Bollywood’s A-lister’s penchant for activism.Alas, the stars we hear , have the will to fit the bill. But when it comes to the crunch they cannot go for the kill.

Uday Shankar, CEO of Star India, threw a party for directors, producers, creatives, amongst others, who have worked with him, is working with him and will work with him in the future. I went with my creative team, Arshad, Jaffery and Shokhi Banerjee. The best part about the party was that it was wonderfully organized. Each and everyone present in the do were attended personally and it was made sure that everyone felt special.

News has just flown in that Star India CEO Uday Shakar is throwing an awesome dinner party tonight (4 February 2012) for the producers of STAR Plus and Life OK. Yes, they deserve a grand celebration as both the channels are doing really well when it comes to raking in the numbers.
