Now talking about Alia Bhatt’s upcoming projects, Jigra has become the talk of the town ever since the teaser has dropped. The movie stars Alia Bhatt along with Vedang Raina. The story is about a sister (played by Alia Bhatt) who goes through excruciating pain and crosses all boundaries to free her brother (played by Vedang Raina). The movie is directed by Vasan Bala.

The director of Dream Girl was asked if his film is based on or influenced by the Hollywood movie Sex Tape during an interview. Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz played the primary leads in the 2014 film. Raaj Shaandilyaa did clarify that the film, starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri, is not based on a Hollywood film.
