Vijay TV launches <em> Namma Veetu Kalyanam </em>, a show that will showcase the wedding celebration of celebrities. It will feature the wedding celebration of some of the famous south Indian celebs.

Gold Winner <em> Isai Kudumbam </em>, a musical show on Vijay TV is coming up with its new series. After play back singers and people from the corporate world, the new series will have TV actors as participants.

International Women’s Day is marked on March 08 every year and is a day of celebration for the economic, political and social achievements of women globally. Vijay TV also celebrates this special day with great pride and has many special programmes lined-up for its viewers. At 11am is <em> ‘Azagaai Irukiraai Bayamai Irukiradu’</em> – Tamil feature film starring Bharath, Mallika Kapur, Arun Vijay and Deepu.

Thamizh is not only a language but also a way of life for every Thamizhian. Vijay TV in its efforts to promote the language Thamizh presents <em> ‘Aachi Thamizh Pechu Engal Moochu’,</em> the first ever search for the best Thamizh orator in Tamilnadu. Speaking about the program, Mr.K.Sriram, Head Vijay TV says, “The programme is our way of thanking and respecting our language Tamil and the great scholars who were and are associated with it and this program in a small way would promote the art of speaking in good Tamil”.

A no nonsense bold talk show will soon go on air on Vijay TV. <em> Ipadikku Rose</em>, the first of its kind talk-show in South Indian television will be launched soon. Rose, a transgender with a master’s degree from United States is rolled in as the host. The show will sensitise people to topics that are considered taboo in society. “<em> Ipadikku Rose</em> is a show which would discuss, analyse and provide a possible solution to people who are victims of social evils prevalent in our society,” said K.Sriram, Head -Vijay TV.

Vijay TV is coming up with another reality show to entertain its audiences. The high energy music show - Gold Winner Isai Kudumbam - will be airing this month. The show brings together singers who form the teams, or 'families'. These families will compete against each other for the coveted “Gold Winner Isai Kudumbam” title.

Vijay TV brings a special celebration of Valentine’s Day on <em> ‘Kaja Balm Thirandidu Sesame’</em> and<em>‘Lion Dates Neeya Naana.’</em> Participants will win prizes ranging from clothes to laptops, home appliances to diamond jewellery. The participants in this episode are either newly married or young lovers. They will try to figure out the gifts behind the doors on the sets. Vijay Adiraj brings his wife Rachana to the sets of Thirandidu Sesame. The show will feature on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 8pm.
