Vrinda Dawda, whom we know as Taani in Channel V’s Dil Dostii Dance (D3-produced by Cinevistaas), will soon be completing one year in the show. “Yes, soon I will be completing one year in <em>D3</em>. Couldn’t make out how time passed by so soon. I am really glad to have a wonderful cast and crew. Initially, fans did not accept me as Taani, but now they acknowledge my work and have started liking me. I feel special when people text me saying that they like my work. My fans on social media have also appreciated my work. I really feel special when people come and ask for my autograph.”

I live with my mom, dad and elder brother in Mumbai. Born on 31 March 1990 in Mumbai, I finished schooling from St Xavier High School after which I did my college from the Juhu-based Rithambhara College. Before acting, I completed an airhostess course from Frankfinn Institute of Air Hostess. I have done an ad campaign for Nasaka Water Purifier with Shabana Azmi ma’am and have done numerous photo shoots for many brands.

Cinevistaas’ Dil Dostii Dance (D3), on Channel V that began with the story of Kria (Shakti Mohan), has changed a lot in the last few months with Shakti’s exit from the show that has made fans an unhappy lot. What has irked them the most is the brutal murder of their favourite character Kria. Since the show revolves around the journey of Kria, she was the central character of the show. However, after Shakti’s exit, the creatives decided to end Kria’s role and introduced a new character Taani being played by Vrinda Dawda.

Cinevistaas’ Dil Dostii Dance on Channel V will hit a major turning point in the coming week when the Weaklings, who are busy preparing for the Footloose Competition, face a major setback when they get into a situation wherein they can be disqualified from participating in the competition. The apparent reason for this development is that they fall short in one of the requirements needed as per rules for the participation.
