Big Synergy’s promising show <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/star-plus-new-venture-lakhon-mein-ek-continue-legacy-satyamev-jayate>Lakhon Mein Ek</a> on Star Plus is all set to take over the time slot of Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate from 5 August. As compared to the zero promotion done by the channel, a lot has been written about the project.

Seasoned and famous actor Yashpal Sharma needs no introduction. The actor, who made his last television appearance in SAB TV’s <em>Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah</em> (Neela Telefilms), is all set to make a comeback with Big Synergy’s <em>Lakhon Mein Ek</em> on Star Plus. The first episode of the show would deal with the 19 year old Aman Kachro ragging case that took place at Himachal Pradesh in 2009, where Amar’s four seniors ragged him to death in an inebriated state.

Forging enmity with the Chaddi Gang is not proving to be a good idea for Jethalal (<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/snippets/when-dilip-joshi-lost-his-cool>Dilip Joshi</a>) and his family in Sab TV’s <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/tappu-sena-go-hunger-strike-taarak>Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah</a></em>. In the upcoming episodes Don’s (<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/zee-show-dahan-changes-production-hands-endemol-hats>Yashpal Sharma</a>) men will try to kidnap <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/jethalal-goes-missing-taarak-mehta>Jethalal</a>.

Hats Off Productions has apparently approached Sufi Malhotra of Roadies 6.0 to play the male lead in its Zee show tentatively titled <em>Karegi Mera Naam Roshan</em>. The show also boasts of veterans like Farooq Sheikh, Lubna Salim and Yashpal Sharma. They have also locked in on Sana Sheikh to play the protagonist.

Endemol's upcoming fiction show tentatively titled Dahan will hit Zee TV some time mid- May. The show which is set against a rural backdrop will be a daily. Though the other actors have still to be signed in, one important name that is being considered is Yashpal Sharma better known as traitor Lakha of <em>Lagaan</em>. The actor is all set for his big role as an antagonist as it's a key role.
