He is all set to don the mantle of a judge in Zee Marathi’s <em>Fu-Bai-Fu</em>. This stand-up comedy reality show (a la Sony TV’s <em>Comedy Circus</em>) is hugely popular in the Marathi entertainment space. The latest season will be its sixth attempt to tickle the funny bones of viewers.

Has he got super busy romancing with his better half since his marriage? Well, it’s nothing like that. Swapnil is impressing everyone with his exquisite performance in Zee Marathi’s <em>Eka Lagnachi Dusri Goshta</em>. The show revolves around two individuals who stay a detached life under one roof in order to make their parents happy. The serial has wowed everyone and is being watched avidly even in the overseas.

Reality shows have spread across the television sphere, be it on national or regional shows. Zee Marathi’s singing reality show <em>Sa Re Ga Ma Pa</em> has been hogging all the limelight lately and it will see its grand finale 6 May, 2012. Guess what? We have the name of the winner of this prestigious singing contest. Out of the actors who held the mike, the ones that made it to the finale are Amruta Subhash, Ajay Purkar, Ketki Thatte, Vaibhav Mangle and Prashant Damle.

Two of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/star-tv-and-ekta-kapoor-bury-hatchet>Ekta Kapoor</a> latest productions go on air tonight. While <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/balaji-offers-role-anupriya-saying-tere-liye>Tere Liye</a> goes on Star Plus, interestingly, another Marathi daily goes on Zee Marathi. Looks like she has moved from doing shows with a Maharashtrian backdrop to actually a Marathi soap! The show is titled <em>Majhiya Priyala Preet Kalena</em> and airs at 8 pm.

Last night a mob comprising of about 20 people created havoc at Famous Studio (Mahalaxmi) during the shoot of Zee Marathi’s<em> Sa Re Ga Ma Pa</em>. Host Pallavi Joshi’s car was also damaged. Trouble started when a few guys in the audience kept murmuring continuously which irked the judges Saleel Kulkarni and Asha Khadilkar. Celebrity guest violinist Prabhakar was performing but these guys still didn’t stop. Finally, they were asked to leave.

A lot has been changing on Zee Marathi. It started with change in logo and continues with launch of new serials. <em>Oon Pauus, Ankur, Misha</em> and now its time for a serial temporary titled <em>Tujhyavina</em> (without you). Scheduled to launch on 2 May, this serial will be a weekly. This serial will see Varsha Usgaonkar and Yatin Karyekar play the lead. After <em>Oon Pauus</em> launched last month, Zee Marathi is set to launch another mega serial titled <em>Ankur</em>, a weekly launching on 14 April. Writer-director of the serial Pratima Kulkarni explains, "Most serials end at women leaving their houses. This serial will show the life of a woman after her leaving the house."
