Zee TV's mega launch <em>Sinndoor - Tere Naam Ka</em> will launch on 21 March. Sinndoor is a daily serial about Vedika, played by Gurdip Kohli, who has the phobia of the traditional auspicious symbol of sinndoor. The serial deals with her marriage to a sane man. So will it remind the audience of <em>Koshish Ek Aasha</em>? "In <em>Koshish</em>.., the sane girl was trapped in the marriage, but in Sinndoor.., the sane husband and his family feel trapped," explains co-producer of the serial, Jay Mehta. He expects to pull crowds in the pre-primetime zone with this serial.

It's all happening in Zee's <em>Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa</em>. Last weekend, Mihir Misra was sacked. Today, Gaurav Chopra, Dimple Inamdar and Muskaan have been added. While Dimple Inamdar (Ananya)- currently seen in <em>Kalcchakra</em> and <em>Remix</em>- will play Chopra's love interest, Muskaan- currently seen in <em>Ye Meri Life Hai</em>- will play Chopra's sister (Sanjana).

Mihir Misra, aka Aditya Ramchandran, has finally found the girl of his dreams in Zee's <em>Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa</em>, but unfortunately, his dream run on the show has come to an end. Mihir exits the serial in Thursday's episode. While producer Shrishti Behl-Arya says "we had date issues", Mihir maintains that his role has naturally come to an end. Thursday's episode will the last featuring Mihir, in which Adi will be shown flying off to London. After that, <em>KHKN</em> will be a two-boy show, says Mihir.

Aroona Irani's <em>Tum Bin Jaoon Kahan</em> ends its run on Zee today. The show, one of the channel long running serials, ends with Khushi dying while trying to save Aryan. 'She asks Durga to take care of Mahir. Guruji says that the story started with one death and Khushi coming back defying destiny and now it ends with her death. The chapter is closed' - goes Zee's assessment of the final episode that's to be aired at 11 pm tonight.

Zee's biggest soap launch of 2005 is slated for launch mid March. <em>Sindoor</em>, another women oriented daily soap created by Jay Mehta, is likely to replace <em>Reth</em> and will air at 7:30 pm. Based loosely on the Sridevi starrer Sadma, <em>Sindoor</em> is a story with a difference --- the lead character, played by Gurdip Kohli, is mentally unbalanced, the mother-in-law is overtly protective about her son and no, it is not a saas-bahu saga.

All the masala that is so typical of Hindi serials nowadays, returns with a vengeance in Zee's <em>Astitva --- Ek Prem Kahani</em>, as it takes a leap of 18 years, starting 15 March. While the leap is scheduled just a few weeks away, the new cast is yet to be finalised. Shoot starts February end.

The actor will impulsively tie the knot with an older woman, this time on screen. In what seems to be a take-off from Mihir Misra's real life, Zee TV's '<em>Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na</em>' is tracking a similar path on Aditya . The makers of '<em>KHKN</em>' are obviously inspired by his impromptu marriage to Maninee De (Pari of Sony's '<em>Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin</em>'). How else does one explain this?

A decade and running, that's Zee's <em>Antakshari</em> for you. But Annu Kapoor's other baby, a musical show that's been running for one and a half years on Pakistan's Geo channel, has run into rough weather. <em>Gayegi Duniya Geet Mere</em>, a daily show that had Annu holding forth on different musical legends from the subcontinent, has been one of the actor's pet projects for a long while. Financial constraints on part of the channel have forced the temporary closure of the show, reveals a saddened Annu.

They met on the sets of Yes or No, fell in love, and are now getting engaged---a picture perfect love story in the making. Chhavi Mittal, the lead protagonist of Zee's <em>Tumhari Disha</em>, is having a great start to the year. First, her show was rated the topmost among Zee's top 10 shows last week in the TRP stakes, and now her life seems to have found the disha it wanted. Chhavi will shortly get engaged to Mohit Hussain, one of the directors of Rooh, a serial based on the supernatural aired on Zee TV.

Zee's Disha is undergoing a makeover. For those who have been clued in, Disha, who has been weaving her way in and out of slinky see-through sarees, might just get a change of attire.
