After two successive popular seasons, <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/dance-india-dance-has-india-foot-tapping-records-highest-viewer-rating>Dance India Dance</a> is all set to return on Zee. The show will be produced by TRP (The Right Picture) yet again.

The choice was tough, actually it was a fight between Dharmesh Yelande and Shakti Mohan from Geeta <em>Ki</em> Gang and Terence <em>Ki Toli</em> respectively as chances of Remo <em>ke rangeeley</em> Punit and Geeta’s other contestant, Binny Sharma winning looked glum. After all, Yelande and Mohan had been slugging it out to grab the maximum number of votes week after week and in the past couple of weeks, Mohan was clearly emerging the winner.

Like they did with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Zee is coming up now with a version for kids. Called Dance India Dance Junior, the show will see <em>DID 1</em> contestant, Jai Kumar Nair as a mentor for the children. Confirming the news, Jai says, "Yes, I will be mentoring one group in the show. There will be three more mentors in the show. The other three have not yet been finalised. But I feel there will be one person each from the first and second seasons.”

Remo D’ Souza lost one more dancer from his team. NRI contestant Nikitasha Marwah had to bow out as she got the least number of votes. One mentor who is going strong in <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/its-girl-kruti-terence-ki-toli-gets-boot>Dance India Dance</a></em> is Geeta Kapur. Her four participants are still intact with her. Remo who had three contestants in his team till last weekend is now left with his two boys followed by Terence Lewis and his team of three.

Everyone was shocked when <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/after-last-weeks-stunning-performance-dharmesh-sir-gets-out-week-meenu>Dharmesh Yelande</a> fondly called as 'Dharmesh sir' by his co-participants and mentors alike was ousted from <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/evictees-and-reserves-return-did-2>Dance India Dance 2</a></em>. But his undying spirit and nimble feet brought him back on the show through wild card entry. Along with him will enter three contestants from the reserve team - Saajan, Amrita and Jack.

This weekend on <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/ameet-terence-ki-toli-gets-boot-kishore-dances-his-way-next-stage>Dance India Dance 2</a>, mentor Geeta Kapur will have to say good bye to two of her contestants - Tina and Altaf. The two found themselves in the bottom six along with Bhavna and Shashank from Remo Ke Rangeele and Kruti-Parvez from Terence Ki Toli.

Last Saturday, grandmaster Mithun Chakravorty was supposed to eliminate a boy and a girl from Dance India Dance 2. But only a girl, Shruti from Geeta Ki Gang was shown the door while there was a tie between the boys, Kishore from Kapoor’s gang and Ameet from Terence Ki Toli. Mithun <em>da</em> then decided to give the guys another chance, and they were asked to prepare a 90 second performance based on which he would then decide this Friday. Now a bird from the <em>DID</em> sets tells us that it’s Ameet who’s got the boot.
