Dekh Bhai Dekh

Veteran actor Navin Nischol of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/features/hasna-mana-hai>Dekh Bhai Dekh</a> fame is no more. The actor passed away this morning of a massive heart attack. This came as a sudden shock to many. He was 67. Nischol made his debut opposite Rekha with the Hindi film Sawan Bhadon in 1970.

The poker-faced funnyman Shekhar Suman, after his failed stint with movies and successful one with television beginning with <em> Dekh Bhai Dekh </em>, winding through many serials and hosting his shows like Movers and Shakers, is all set to move towards another direction. Recently he cut a music album and has a couple of films too. But what's different is for this not-so-avid a cricket buff is to host a cricket programme for the Reliance 92.5 FM channel.

Bhavana Balsaver participated in the Dream Run of the Mumbai marathon this year and last year collected money for an NGO called In Defence Of Animals (IDA). But not many know that she has always been very fond of animals and has had various pets.

Bhavna Balsaver is all set to do a couple of skits with Johny Lever in Zee's <em>Johny Ala Re</em>. The actor who made a mark for proving her mettle with her excellent comic timing in shows like<m> Zabaan Sambhal Ke<em> and<em> Dekh Bhai Dekh.</em> " In Johny Ala Re I get to play a little girl, a press reporter and various other characters with Johny Bhai. I took up the show because I wanted to work with Johny and the director is a friend also I think it's an entertaining show with a different concept," smiles Bhavna who was seen in Zee Smile's<em> Home Sweet Home.</em>
