Star Plus’ <em>Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon</em> will bid adieu to all its viewers tonight (30 November 2012). So, we decided to chat with a few actors of this show to know their take on it…and their journey. Said Sanaya Irani aka Khushi, “Everyone is feeling sad about it. This was the best team and I will miss it for quite some time.”

Cute and bubblicious Niaa Sharma, who is essaying Maanvi’s role in Star Plus’<em>Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai</em> (Cinevistaas), is unhappy that <em>Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon</em> is ending abruptly. Amongst many others, she has also been ardent fan of the show. “How can a show like <em>Iss Pyaar Ko…</em> go off-air? The soap was doing very good. It always managed to gain good TRPs. I feel sad that the cast and crew was told by the channel about the project shutting down only five days back and they had to come up with an abrupt closing,” shared Niaa.

TV fans…it is clear now that your favourite show <em>Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon</em> on Star Plus will breathe its last on 30 November 2012. Since the news of Barun Sobti opting out of the show hit the headlines, the actor’s and show’s die-hard fans tried their level best and all means to keep the soap afloat so that they can witness magical romantic moments of Arnav (Barun) and Khushi (Sanaya). But all is lost now as the inevitable has happened.

Star Plus is definitely up for some massive programming change. The channel has already launched Veera (Beyond Dreams Productions) and <em>Khamosiyaan</em> (Trilogy Krikos and Thought Train Entertainment) and in the coming months it will throw in more projects as well. We hear that with <em>Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon</em> bidding adieu this Friday, Star Plus is bringing in Shakuntalam Telefilms’ <em>Kaali</em> as its replacement.
