Mandira Bedi
Her caller tune plays Michael Jackson’s Bad. Well, Mandira Bedi is in bad shape after having fractured her ankle while performing an impromptu stunt at the press conference of Colors show Fear Factor -Khatron Ke Khiladi on 14 September. Bedi has blamed the channel for not adopting adequate safety measures and ignoring her in this trying hour.

Her fans will be disappointed but it is true that Mandira Bedi will not be a part of Extraaa Innings, the pre- match show on SET Max – anymore.
A member of Extraaa Innings on condition of anonymity says, “It’s true that Mandira Bedi will not be hosting Extraaa Innings. There’s a new host but I can’t divulge the name as yet.”
When contacted NP.Singh, the COO of Sony Entertainment Television, said, “I don’t want to comment on anything right now. We will reveal everything at the appropriate time.”

Noodle strap, Mandira Bedi will once again co-anchor Extra Innings on SET for the upcoming ICC cricket world cup in West Indies with Charu Sharma. Mandira surely knows her cricket bit quite seriously and says " It really hurts when people think that just because I dress glam, I am a dumb bimbette, who has no knowledge of the gentleman's game."

The Mandira magic has obviously worked for this one. Deal Ya No Deal, the game show that makes a big deal out of guessing the right box that may contain a fortune, has been pulling in the ratings, slowly but steadily.

Remember Mandira Bedi, from Extraaa Innings? Guess what, she is going to be accompanied by Virendra Sehwag! Yes we are talking about Max's new brand ambassador, who is none other than the master blaster himelf.
Mandira Bedi is delighted to have Sehwag accompanying her, "It's lovely to see a person like Sehwag being the brand representative as Max and Sehwag are synonymous. For, one epitomizes passion for cricket and the other zeal for films. And no one could have done justice to this except the man himself."

The Mandira magic seems to be working for Sahara One too.
A week after Dial One Aur Jeeto launched on the channel, the call centre at Sahara City in Lucknow hasn't stopped ringing. For obvious reasons. The peppy Mandira Bedi offers generous booty in return for correctly answering questions that an average school kid with reasonable general knowledge ought to furnish without taxing the grey cells much.
